Summary of the Position

The Senior Buyer plays a key commercial role to lead and support buying manager in managing Asia buying activities across designated product categories and brands. This incumbent focus on championing KPI by supplier management and work cross functional teams and external stakeholders in markets to deliver increment synergy benefit.

Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities include:

• Carry out and deliver category sourcing strategy by driving YOY growth in synergy benefits of responsible category 
• End-to-End project management by ensuring project are delivered in time-efficient manner
• Overall retail profit and margin improvement for new products throughout lifecycle
• Be independent role to analyze business situation and propose quality sourcing decision
• Leading LEAN opportunities to drive process 
• Contribute product expertise and market insight in relevant categories to the team

Key Position Requirements:

• 5 years of sourcing and product development experiences of UK and US retail market, cosmetic is highly preferred
• Solid retailing sourcing background and brand management
• A team player as well as project leader to lead cross-functional team project development activities
• Understand regulatory requirements for cosmetic in US and Europe Supplier development
• Able to drive and develop suppliers to fulfill company requirements
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Independent, reliable, attention to details and able to work under pressure
• Strong command of English language in both written and verbal
• High proficiency in Microsoft office application, advance in Excel
• Occasion business travel may be required
