ICMA's Asia representative office opened in Hong Kong in 2013, and seeks a full-time assistant to provide secretarial support, office management, and event organization.

Job description:

• Provide full range of secretarial and administrative support to a team including organising meeting schedules, travel, expenses and logistics
• Organise meetings, events and seminars and manage email invitations
• Prepare various meeting and presentation materials
• Manage administrative duties such as office supplies and technology
• Liaise closely with colleagues in UK, Switzerland, and France on all administrative matters
• Answer telephone calls and welcome external guests in a professional manner
• Perform other tasks and manage other projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in any business-related field
• 2 years or more relevant working experience
• Fluency in written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Proficient PC skills including MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, and Chinese word processing
• Ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders from different countries and cultures
• Well organized, detail-oriented, responsible, flexible & self-motivated
