Responsibilities & Duties:

•Responsible for adherence to all productivity, policies, procedures and continual improvement for Quality Assurance, Food Safety and customer specifications on a day to day basis.

•Optimize and ensure execution of weekly and monthly production schedules for development and succession planning.

•Accountable for production costs, labour utilization, yield, continuously improve the reduction of operating costs, wide/superficial knowledge in Six Sigma methodology is an advantage.

•Ensures adherence to the ISO22000,HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practices.

•Responsible for preparing and executing the plant overhead budget, and direct product cost targets.

•Continuously seeks ways to improve manufacturing operational results and efficiencies while meeting customer expectations and minimizing waste.

•Meet or exceed customer service level targets through the synchronization of process/activities with all functional area processes, from demand planning through to the delivery to the customer.

•Supports Marketing/Sales with respect to new and existing product development initiatives.

Educational Requirements and Qualification

•Degree in one of the following disciplines: food science, business, engineering, or operations management.

•5-10 years of experience in a food processing industry.

•10 years’ experience in a management role

•Strong leadership skills, independent thinking, strong organizational and planning

•Abilities and excellent analytical and problem solving skills are essential.

•Ability to work as a team with all functional areas to support a common goal.

•Good command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
