Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidates will work for the new and innovative Product Development and Planning in order to serve the need on new services planning for the silver citizen market and elderly segment.

• To explore, source, analyze and evaluate new technology and products (e.g. Smart Home, e-health, wearables, voice recognition technology, etc.) to support new products and services planning, upgrade of existing products and services, etc.;
• To plan for new technology and products strategy and roadmap, definethe functional requirements and implement new product development process;
• To build up and maintain good relationship with technology companies, product manufacturers and vendors on vendor management;
• To drive and manage products implementation and co-ordinate with internal departments and external partners/vendors for requirements and executions;
• To arrange and perform thorough products testing before launch;
• To monitor products performance and quality for launched products, for fine-tuning and enhancement;
• To research and gather market intelligence/trends on new technology, innovations, products, applications, etc.
• To prospect for potential opportunities and partnership
• To provide product training to internal staff, potential users, organizations, visitors and other counterparts.

Requirements

• Degree holder or above in Engineering (e.g. Electronic Engineering, Intelligent Buildings & Automation Engineering, Automated Network Technologies and Applications, etc.) /Computer Engineering or related discipline; or Degree holder of other disciplines with related working experience.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in products and service development, project management or mobile industry in managerial level.
• Tech-savvy and willing to explore IT trends, technology and innovations, products and applications.
• Sensitive to social trends with a passion for helping the seniors.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving and negotiation skill.
• Strong sense of personal drive, highly organized, detail-oriented and able to handle task independently in a dynamic environment.
• Experienced or specialized in Home Automation, Smart Home, Smart Living, Smart City, Internet of Things (IoT), e-Health arena or work in related IT companies is a plus.
• Knowledge in mobile apps and software programming is an advantage;
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese. Mandarin skills will be an advantage.
