GM / IT Director - Sourcing / Supply Chain - IT Business Relationship Management - Up to 1.2 mil 

My client is a leading GIANT in lot logistics / supply chain industry. They are looking to hire an Senior IT Relationship Manger / IT General Manger for their Sourcing / Supply Chain Business.

Responsibilities

• To lead/manage all aspects of applications and related technologies for merchandising business and supply chain services
• Perform as a strategic business partner and provide quality IT advisory services to internal and external customers and translate business requirement into quality solutions to improve business process
• To be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and the representative of application(s) to the business enabling the effective delivery of business required solutions in the above areas.
• To communicate with business leaders, vendors and colleagues in understanding current & future business needs, operational challenges and new business pipelines and manage IT resources / business expertations accordingly
• To effectively collaborate with colleagues in the Company, ensuring goals, deliverables and technologies are aligned across the group, and effectively integrated based on the business needs.
• To provide support for business development initiatives
• Perform and hoc projects as and when required

Requirement

• University degree holder in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering or related discipline, Master in Business Administration (MBA) is highly preferred
• 10-15 years solid IT experience in functional / technical architecture design of ERP or Supply Chain System, etc.
• At least 5 years of team leading experience; multi-national / regional work experience in is highly advantageous;
• Demonstrate proven track record of successfully delivering projects in distribution, logistics or manufacturing industry in multiple geographies and disparate requirements. Project experience involved business process reengineering (BPR) is required
• Strong abilities to liaise, co-operate and work with all levels of internal customers
• Well-rounded project experience in a service delivery environment; ideally spanning across strategy, product / service offering, operation, and IT related projects within quality and budget
• Strong leadership, influencing, inter-personal, coordination, people management skills to lead project teams in delivering projects
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficient in Chinese is preferable.
