Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • To plan, develop, market and implement a new digital fundraising event to leverage on the strong brand and network of existing events like Oxfam Trailwalker, Oxfam Rice event, etc.
  • To identify and form strategic partnership for the above-mentioned event
  • To develop detailed action plans and budget; seek sponsorship (in cash and in kind), recruit and service participants and volunteers, plan and implement logistical arrangements; coordinate IT and promotional matters; conduct evaluation and document lessons learnt for responsible events, both new and existing ones
  • To supervise staff and volunteers in organizing the events
  • Ad hoc tasks as assigned

 

Requirements: 

  • Degree holder with solid experience in event marketing, notably digital marketing and online customer service
  • With more than five years’ experience in organizing large scale event at supervisory level
  • Self-motivated and able to take up responsibilities and solve problems independently
  • Able to meet schedules and deadlines with determination, attentive to details, able to handle multi-tasks and work under pressure
  • Excellent in communication and interpersonal skill; inclined to appreciate others’ perspective and able to coordinate the best possible compromise
  • Practical experience in CRM along with a passion for social media and online communication
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SEO tools, website CMS, PPC, CRM and Google Adwords
  • Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English
  • Experience in Oxfam Trailwalker is highly desirable
  • Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision
