Job Description

Job Title: Account Manager (Asia)

The primary functions of the role entail the daily management of project specific responsibilities, as well as the set-up/up-keeping and administration of the newly developed Hong Kong office. The position reports to the Director of Client Services Asia. CANDIDATES WITH LESS WORK EXPERIENCE MAY BE CONSIDERED FOR A COORDINATOR ROLE. 

 

Job Description

Responsible for working alongside the Client Services team in Asia with the development of partnerships, facilitation of client initiatives and management of day-to-day partnership elements. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling a wide range of tasks and will be able to interact with clients in a professional manner. The individual must be exceedingly well organized, flexible, and enjoy the challenges of working at a small office with diverse people and programs. Must be able to interact with executives at all levels while remaining flexible, proactive and resourceful, with a high level of professionalism.

 

Responsibilities

  • Participate in strategy ideation and brainstorming sessions in support of partnership development activity on behalf of clients and business development activity in the pursuit of new clients
  • Attend client engagement and business development meetings and phone calls
  • Draft concept sheets, emails and proposals related to client service or business development needs
  • Develop tracking sheets that can be presented to our clients on an as-needed basis, to ensure that partnerships are moving forward in a timely manner
  • Create partnership agendas for meetings by liaising with the involved parties
  • Issue recaps after meetings and track any next steps
  • Confirm and schedule meetings and calls with participating partners
  • Create cost/ ROI models for partnerships/events to be executed in the future
  • Run the logistical side of the Hong Kong office. I.e. track invoices, bills, and financials (working closely with our consultancy firm/ our lawyers)
  • Understand and be able to summarize/ synthesize partnership marketing initiatives on an ongoing basis as part of our standard operating procedure for our clients
  • For ongoing partnerships that encapsulate multiple offers, run a daily/weekly report on the success of our program
  • Provide research and critical analysis on new business development opportunities for senior leadership on an ad-hoc basis
  • Track history of partnership marketing initiatives on an ongoing basis
  • Provide a wide variety of other support for the team

 

Requirements

  • Four year college degree
  • 1-3 years of marketing, brand management or business development experience
  • Must have strong PPT and / or Keynote Skills, Photoshop knowledge is preferred
  • Located in Hong Kong and possesses a valid HKID
  • Background in luxury, lifestyle, hospitality, or consumer products helpful
  • Agency experience is preferred
  • Prior experience in the creation of marketing and/or partnership strategies a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin
  • Extremely strong organizational skills, with the ability to track progress of multiple accounts each with various stakeholders providing input
  • Good interpersonal skills, professional manner, ability to work with various groups
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects
  • Must have professional fluency in both English and Mandarin
