Key responsibilities

• Manage the company’s Hong Kong financial operations, structure, and planning
• Assist CFO on the company’s global financial strategy of operations, structure, and planning
• Coordinate, analyze and report financial performance to management team, Board members and global investors (financial performance, projections and other special projects as required)
• Prepare cost and expense plan and supervise the company's cash flow; provide financial support for the company's financing activities, such as VC financing and overseas IPO
• Analyze and improve existing processes, and continuously improve the utilization and efficiency of funds
• Oversee audit and tax functions in Hong Kong, coordinate activities with outside audit firms or authorities
• Develop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for financial accounting, reports and other company policies in Hong Kong
• Ensure adherence to strict financial disciplines in all aspects of Gshopper’s business

Desired skills and experiences

• Knowledge and experience of Hong Kong tax and audit policies; knowledge of Chinese, Korean, and Japanese taxation preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Passion for an experience with start-up culture and new technologies
• Ability to see the big picture yet has attention to detail; able to combine finance functional management with core business and commercial understanding
• Proven track record to work with senior executives and leaders
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Fully bi-lingual in Chinese and English
• Immediate available is highly prefered

This role will report directly to CFO of the company.
