The Assistant Director of Electronic Gaming is tasked with the responsibility of direct management of casino operations and accountable for ensuring effective and efficient operations to meet gaming standards and procedures and the maximization of revenue opportunities for the department. He/she shall provide support to the Director - Electronic Gaming Operations and Vice President - Electronic Gaming Operations with regard to new initiatives, development of VIP slot business, product and system development, roll out and monitoring, strategy development, supplier liaison, and inter-departmental communication and cooperation. He/she shall take the lead in the development of positive staff culture both within and across departments that reflects company objectives, including the management of staff issues such as staff development, recognition, counselling, disciplinary action and effective implementation of the Performance Management System.  He/she shall be responsible in maintaining a high standard of customer service and that all Electronic Gaming team members have a great understanding of the Company’s products and services.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage a team of Shift Managers, Supervisors and Ambassadors on a daily basis with a close working relationship with Gaming Technical Services and related departments
• Accountable for presentation of floor, team members, machine operability and coordination of promotions and events from a departmental cooperation perspective
• Develop tools and systems to better manage floor operations, gauge performance, and leverage opportunities to enhance operating capacity including department incentive programs
• Build an environment where team members have the opportunity to develop personally and professionally, fostering a harmonious workplace where they be recognized for their consistent contributions toward attaining Departmental and Company goals
• Ensure the delivery of exceptional guest service in terms of guest interaction, timeliness of service, presentation of surroundings and environment and availability of assistance
• Communicate to shift team members regarding project changes, pertinent issues and updated procedures as well as communication to management of operational issues both in terms of guest experience and team member morale
• Effectively manage staff, conduct counselling as necessary and enforce disciplinary action in accordance with the Company’s policies & procedures and performance standards
• Conduct team member training and perform other administrative tasks as required 
• Recommend strategic and operational improvements to improve department performance in both qualitative and quantitative terms
• Assist on project planning and execution of all casino changes through liaison with other departments and business units
• Coordinate with PAGCOR on recommendations regarding compliance in order to achieve operational efficiency requirements
• Assist in the conduct of business intelligence studies, analysis on competitors’ products and services and prepare monthly report updates
• Review and verify PAGCOR-required documentation and comply with audit requirements
• Work closely with the Compliance Team on new product releases and conduct demonstration to PAGCOR as required
• Assist in the development and/or execution of management policies to hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, recall, discharge, re-assign or discipline employees
• Ensure that the Company’s principles and guidelines are observed at all times.

• Tertiary qualification 
• Gaming-related courses an advantage 
• Minimum of four (4) years experience in a management role in significant gaming establishments
• Extensive knowledge and experience on gaming systems 
• Knowledgeable on all kinds of electronic gaming machines
• Strong preference on those who have overseas gaming experience 
• Experience in managing a significant number of team members
