By taking responsibility of product develop and project delivery for international markets (mainly UK and US) of Global Beauty gifts and accessories, the incumbent reviews technical standards on products and process; develop suppliers to fulfill relevant standards by monitoring product specification, regulatory compliance and quality standard and ensuring project are delivered within agreed timeline.

Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities include:

• Responsible for product development and project delivery under beauty gifting and accessory products category for international markets (mainly UK and US)
• Ensure all safety, legislative and technical requirements are fully understood by key stakeholders throughout product development cycle
• Review and interpret technical standards, develop process to ensure effective deployment of relevant standard and quality assurance activities
• Assess, review and develop supplier’s capability in meeting relevant technical standard.
• Manage and review supplier’s performance to ensure they can meet WBA standard for CoC, QMS and Technical Capability
• Work closely with product assessment team (testing team) and suppliers to verify compliance of products and associated documentations as per regulatory and corporate requirements
• Ensure projects are delivered adhering to milestone/critical path
• Monitor production and shipment quality and manage post delivery quality issue
• Manage supplier and delivery performance
• Participate product risk assessment, communicate quality risk/issue act as part of product
• Work on quality continuous improvement program to ensure the product meet customer expectation and have great experience in our product

Key Position Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Technology or Quality management with relevant experience
• 3-5 years experiences in technical areas i.e. product /formulation development, laboratory testing or quality control/quality assurance
• Knowledge of European regulation on beauty or accessory items, US is a plus
• Manufacturing experience/ Quality assurance knowledge
• Previous exposure to product development and appreciation of technical standard and regulatory requirement in beauty items
• Excellent attention to details, able to cope with multi-tasks in a pressurized environment
• Excellent influencing skills with ability to communicate with people in levels from regions
• Strong organizational and negotiation skills, desire for continuous improvement
• Logical, detail-minded, willing to learn and a good team player
• Good command of spoken & written English and conversational Mandarin
• Proven Microsoft Office skills, including analysis and the understanding of statistical principles
• Occasion business travel may be required
