Job Description

Provide support for programs and services provided by IAAPA’s Asia Pacific office including administrative, membership sales and marketing, communications. In addition, this role will provide occasional support on event management.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Membership:

  • Manage and update the membership and prospect database.
  • Respond to member inquiries.
  • Answer telephone, email and mail inquiries regarding IAAPA and its benefits.
  • Support the planning and implementation of the membership (new and renewal) sales and marketing strategies.
  • Support the efforts to enhance the member and prospective member databases for Asia Pacific.

 

Communications:

  • Update the website for Chinese content
  • Monitor Asia Pacific media and select and review summaries for News Flash.
  • Support all IAAPA expos, events and program marketing efforts through magnet mail, social media and News Flash.

 

Asian Attractions Expo (AAE) Annual Conference and Trade Show:

  • Support meeting planning efforts for the all events (room sets, catering, etc.).
  • Assist with registration details for attendees and exhibitors.
  • Provide visa letter to attendees and exhibitors.
  • Support AAE marketing efforts for Asia Pacific.
  • Staff membership sales booth.
  • Support the Education sessions as needed.

  

Qualification, Knowledge, Skill Required (Minimum education and experience needed to perform the job adequately): 

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience with the attractions industry or the association industry is an advantage.
  • Multilingual – English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Good computer skills (MS, Office 365, Excel, Outlook, Word, PDF, etc.).
  • Ability to travel two weeks a year.
