Job responsibilities:

Assist Business Development Director to carry out the following:

• Perform potential overseas project and overseas investment analysis;

• Design and execute M&A strategy for potential overseas project;

• Coordinate the preparation of periodic financial reporting package of overseas investment to headquarter;

• Monitor the financial performance of overseas investment and provide prompt notice and advise when necessary;

• Liaison with the management of overseas investment regularly;

• Liaison with Hong Kong and overseas professionals where necessary; and

• Frequent travel for potential overseas project opportunity and overseas investment status is required.

Job requirements

• Qualified accountant (HKICPA / ACCA) with at least 5 years working experience

• Preferably have prior experience working in HK listed companies and / or external audit

• Investment and M&A related experience is highly preferred

• You should be able to demonstrate solid knowledge of project analysis and M&A skills

• You should be able to demonstrate solid and up to date knowledge on IFRS, and ability to resolve technical accounting issues

• You should have strong financial reporting experience and be able to manage the monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting on a hands on manner

• You should be logical, independent, approachable and enjoy interactive with different parties

• You should have strong commercial acumen, excellent presentation and negotiating skills

• You are equally fluent in both English and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese)

• You are willing to travel frequently to overseas (mainly Europe region)
