Job Responsibilities:

The incumbent will report directly to the Head of Index Development of CESC.  His/Her duties will include:

• Assist in developing index strategies and designing index series for product development
• Perform in-depth analysis of international index compilation methodologies and practices
• Perform index operation and maintenance and closely communicate with all relevant parties, including external service providers
• Prepare regular reports and drafting market commentary
• Assist in conducting regular index review

Requirements:

• University degree, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Statistics or a related discipline
• Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience, especially in equity research, index development or index operation & maintenance
• Strong self-motivation, with an ability to complete tasks with tight schedule
• Good analytical and communication skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua
