My client, a leading Financial Services Firm are looking to hire a System Architect who has strong experience in system integrations/enhancements with internal and external systems. They need somebody who knows how approach system architecture with a top/high level detail and who can design all application, database and infrastructure components in system integration projects.

Responsibilities:

• Understand all aspects of the system development lifecycle including estimation, feasibility, design, construction, maintenance;
• Work closely with framework and development team to design the physical architecture to ensure horizontal scalability and platform availability;
• Work closely with vendor and corporate infrastructure team to design the architecture and ensure best practice are followed;
• Conduct failover and stress testing to ensure the platform availability;
• Participate and develop release management process to facilitate efficient release;
• Prepare and consolidate release instructions from application team;
• Develop release management tools to minimize human effort and to ensure re usability;
• Package applications for different releases;
• Support and maintain internal developments and QA environment.

• Design the physical architecture for solutions in compliance with IT guidelines and deliver the components in supporting software installation and system management. Apply leading practice, standards, and techniques to technical development
• Deliver project deliverables within the agreed budget and timeline.
• Delivers the project(s) deliverables in line with PMO and stakeholders’ requirements.
• Review technical development related documents to ensure technical and operational requirements are met by implemented IT solution
• Plan required actions to address risks and prepare risk mitigation plan. Track and manage risks and issues effectively.
• Quality standards are defined at the outset of the project and review processes are adhered to.
• Take a proactive approach to manage clients’ expectations and anticipate needs to ensure the new IT system can address their business requirements and meet project objectives.
