Job Description

Summary of the Position:

The incumbent focus on managing supply chain process between Purchase Order (PO) creation and shipment arrangement for customers all over the world. As an ambassador by representing Addo Play Limited , the incumbent take key initiation job with factory on all PO related matters and ensuring finished goods are produced in a timely manner against an excellent level of “On-Time Delivery in Full” expectation.

 

Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities:

- Working closely with designated freight forwarder to ensure cargos are delivering against timeline expectation from overseas retail supply and import team

- Ensure high data integrity on inter-system linkage with regards to PO, items and shipment details

- Confirm release of POs and ensure best optimal ex-factory date is agreed with suppliers

- Investigate and carry thorough assessment over delay reason shall it arise

- Authorize supplier shipment booking

- Conduct periodical review over on-time delivery performance and shipment service level reviews with suppliers

- Provide adequate assistance in freight consolidation at origin and support through custom clearance at destinations

- Working alongside with the Hong Kong buying team to conclude supplier production lead-time, resolves MOQ, multiple delivery and freight consolidation arrangements

- Perform manual system input and regular supply / logistics performance reports

- Manage request from Distribution Supply on production pull in and push out request and ensure continuity of supply across international supply chain

- Other customer specific and supplier centric projects to improve total supply chain efficiency

 

Key Position Requirements:

- 5 years experiences of Purchase Order processes and system operations in Buying office

- Experiences in dealing with factory, freight forwarder and resolving supply chain challenges to ensure on-time delivery in full

- Familiar with ERP or any other cross-functional sizable scale system operation

- Excellent understanding of international logistics, sea-freight handling and inbound consolidation at origin

- Excellent time management approach with sense of urgency in shipment logistics matters

- Good understanding of general product management flow and replenishment order handling

- Ability to coordinate and communicate buying team, quality team, suppliers and freight forwarders

- Good understanding of manufacturing process and shipment documentation

- Ability to handle multiple tasks, and various projects at one time

- Desire to work in fast-paced environment, detailed mind, independent and aware of international business cultures
