Our client, a Government Department is looking for a Research & Logistics Support Assistant:

 Job Duties:

- To search from 1995-1999 local newspapers, magazines and other relevent documentations for the research project on Hong Kong Filmography series;

- To search cultural documentations related to Hong Kong films, including serialized novels which had been adapted to films, song lyrics, and news about entertainment industry, etc. from newspapers and magazines of 1930s and 1940s to facilitate the study of early Hong Kong cinema;

- To provide research and logistic support such as compiling various film list, liaising with freelance writers and researchers engaged as well as to contact film veterans and related working parties for different research and publication projects;

- To help verify and organize some backlog documentations such as 1914-1941 film files; and 

- To perform any other related duties assigned by the Research & Editorial Unit including administrative duties if necessary

Requirements:

- Degree in Film/Television Studies, Media/Communication Studies, Fine Arts, Design, Cultural Studies, Humanities, or relevant subjects;
- At least one-year of working experience in conducting research in film or culture related fields;
- Excellent command in oral and written Chinese and English;
- Adept at using word-processing computer software of Word, Excel etc, and proficiency in Chinese and English data entry
