Responsibilities:

• Responsible to source new brands / products of the assigned category which matches with the concept of J Select (lifestyle / high-end / award winning / prestigious / large variety)
• Liaise with suppliers for purchase order from quote, price negotiation and sampling arrangement
• Monitor inventory situation and product life cycle with purchase plan recommendation
• Handle merchandising tasks such as issue PO, stock replenishment, defective product follow-up
• Coordinate with operation team and in-house designer by following VM guideline and ensure a proper execution for every promotion activity
• Coordinate product training and POSM materials for operation team
• Handle customer enquiries and deal with complaints, if any
• Prepare sales reports for management
• Perform market intelligence analysis, competitors' product comparison and new products evaluation
• Ad hoc project as assigned

Requirements:

• University graduate in purchasing / merchandising / business related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years solid experience in purchasing / merchandising / retail operation in sizeable retail organization
• Experience in consumer electronics / household appliance / lifestyle product is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills, proactive and able to work independent
• Good communication and organization skills
• Good command of spoken and written skills in both English and Chinese
• Immediately available is preferred
