About our client

Our client is a renowned US listed medical devices company with global presence. They are currently seeking an all-rounded finance professional to join their Hong Kong office.

About the role

You will report to the Head of Finance and oversee for all accounting operations / matters in the Hong Kong office. You will lead two accountants and handle month-end closing and monthly / quarterly / annual financial reporting. You will implement internal controls and optimize the effectiveness of the accounting operations so as to provide timely and accurate financial and management reports. You will also work with Head of Finance on yearly budget / forecast and work closely with respective stakeholders.

About the person

To qualify, the successful individual must possess:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, preferably from the Medical, FMCG or Retail industry, including at least 1 year of managerial experience
• Knowledge in US GAAP/ IFRS
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with people effectively at different levels.
• Independent, decisive and hands-on
• Fluent English and Chinese
