This role is to assist the development of investment products offered to institutional and retail investors.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in identifying and developing new product opportunities and formulating possible strategies or plans
• Assist in studying and defining competitive market requirements and opportunities
• Provide ongoing support to ensure the competitiveness of existing products
• Support the preparation of relevant papers, reports, presentation or proposal
• Work closely with fund manager and front line staff for better understanding and analysis on market requirements and in-house capabilities
• Own and project manager the entire product development process (including planning, coordination between stakeholders, hosting working group meetings, reviewing offering/constitutive documents, approving of offering materials for printing and any post-launch services) to ensure the on-time product launches
• Maintain the proper records for product approval, post-launch review, and product line management over the life-cycle of each product
• Inform management of identified risks and mitigation strategies (e.g., operational, mis-selling, documentation, regulatory, tax, etc.)
• Observe any internal policies and controls during the product management process
• Support sales of by contributing to RFPs and product briefs to distributors
• Manage any ad hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• University degree specializing in Economics, Business orFinance. CFA charter holder or CFA candidate will be a plus
• 5 years of experience in financial services, ideally with fund management areas
• Excellent knowledge of the asset management business, regulatory (SFC Unit Trust Code, MPF regulation and UCIT) and investment products
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, with excellent writing (English and Chinese) skill and high proficiency in using MS office (MS Project or Visio will be a plus)
• A team player with good interpersonal skills and project management skills
• Able to multi-task and work tight deadlines, can manage projects independently with self-motivation.
