Responsibilities:

• Assist in building and enhancing the financial management system, lead to establish the financial policies, workflow & related documentation.
• Analyze company's overall financial position and timely evaluate the performance of various business activities; provide timely financial information to senior management.
• In accordance with the national tax regulations and company overall performance, recommend the tax planning strategy to enhance the overall company tax position.
• Assist in developing the company overall investment planning and formulating the investment portfolio strategy to cope with the management assertions.
• Assist in building up and maintain the relationship with related enablers (tax advisor, auditor, financial institution, etc.).
• Supervise and oversee the finance, treasury & accounting functions of the private equity and asset management businesses.
• Formulate the group accounting policies and follow up the daily accounting treatment for the recognition and measurement of direct investments including equity, debt, funds, convertibles, derivatives as well as their revenues
• Arrange fair value models, impairment testing and accounting treatments for various types of direct investments, funds, financial instruments with front-line departments.
• Handle the daily liquid capital computation and regular reporting of asset management licensed corporations in accordance with FRR and SFC requirements.
• Prepare the group’s financial statements, management and regulatory reports (SFC FRR) as well as budgets/plans.
• Communicate with appropriate parties for handling the group consolidation and financial reporting on joint venture investments.
• Provide investment exit strategy advice in finance and tax’s perspective.
• Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile.
• Liaise with auditors for the audit and financial disclosure of all group subsidiaries which hold or manage direct investment and asset management projects.
• Participate in developing new business, specifically: assist management in identifying opportunities, the drafting of prospective programmatic budgets, and determining cost effectiveness of prospective service delivery.

Requirement:

• Degree holder in accounting or finance with recognized professional accounting qualification.
• Over 5 years relevant accounting experience, with experience in Big 4 is an advantage.
• Good leadership, management, problem solving and coordination abilities.
• Excellent Chinese writing skill and good communication skill.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Putonghua are essential.
