Responsibilities:

• Monitor and liaise with custodians for the corporate action related issues.
• Handle enquiries from internal and external parties and response in a timely manner.
• Adhere the operating procedures and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Enhance the operational risk control and monitoring framework.
• Identify and recommend any automation / improvements needs so as to increase the operating efficiency.
• Participate in UAT for settlement system’s enhancements and process improvements.
• Handle ad hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree or above in Business or related disciplines.
• Possess 4 years relevant experience with minimum 2 years at supervisory level.
• Experience in SWIFT / Clearstream / CCASS / CMU are highly preferred.
• Understanding of U.S – Q.I. and withholding tax requirements on different securities markets, say Asia and Central Europe would be an added advantage..
• Committed and responsible with a drive to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Fluent in both English and Cantonese (written and spoken).
• Self-motivated, detail-minded with good communication skills.
