Responsibilities: 

1. Full-time on site for a large scale development to carry out monitoring and checking of site works in civil/structural engineering aspect in accordance with the design information such as specification and drawings, to assure quality standard, and to ensure compliance with building regulations and relevant statutory requirements.
2. To resolve on site engineering difficulties arising from unforeseen circumstances to allow the engineering work to progress with minimum distruption, and in case of action involving variations to design, to consult the lead project engineer.
3. To communicate with design office and RSS of other disciplines to coordinate builder's work requirements in connection to building services, and deal with consequential changes to structural design to produce sketch plans and working sketchess in CAD or hand drawings as the case my be.
4. To act on site co-ordination at the first instant with contractor and other resident site consultants to resolve urgent matter and unforeseen circumstance.
5. To attend directly contractor's site progress, prepare proper on-site progress and resource record as evidence to check against contractor's report.
6. To inspect, witness and record tests and material used and ensure proper workmanship of structural/civil engineering works.
7. Work closely with project consultants, government departments and relevant organizations on project progress and implementation.

 Requirements:

1. Member of HKIE, MIStructE, MICE or equivalent.
2. Minimum 5 years relevant experience in building and civil engineering works.
3. Strong communication and management skill, good command of spoken and written English.
4. Must have relevant Hong Kong working experience.
