We are recruiting university fresh/recent graduates who want to make a difference and have a desire to develop their leadership potential to join our organization as a Program Mentor. Under a two-year scholarship scheme (2017-19), you will immerse yourself in a structured Leadership Development Program and serve full-time in one of our Partner Schools operating under challenging circumstances to provide socially disadvantaged students with mentoring and innovative learning experiences.

 Job Descriptions:

• Collaborate with key staff members of the assigned Partner School to deliver TUF mentoring and education programs, monitor progress and measure impact
• Use English as the springboard, develop dynamic and inspiring learning experiences to enhance learning attitudes, self-esteem and motivation of students in small group settings
• Provide one-on-one guidance to students through structured mentorship
• Support personal growth of students and broaden their horizon through co-curricular activities and special projects
• Take active commitment and ownership in TUF Leadership Development Program, as well as personal and professional development

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above, in any discipline
• Share the vision of quality education for all
• Have strong commitment to help socially disadvantaged students with learning barriers
• Passionate about teaching and mentorship
• Communicative, love English and good at it
• Willing to take challenge, creative and collaborative
• Have proven leadership and/or community service record (experience with youth will be an advantage)

Teach Unlimited Foundation (TUF) is a non-profit organization founded in April 2011 by a group of local parents concerned about the quality of education for socially disadvantaged students in Hong Kong.

TUF aims to provide full-time, customized support to these students by means of well-structured mentorship and additional learning support systems in schools, delivered through selected high-caliber university graduates trained and coached by TUF.

TUF is a registered tax-exempt charity under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (Cap 112) in Hong Kong. We are a charity listed on WiseGiving and have been awarded the Caring Organization Logo by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service since 2015.
