Our client a large blue chip organisation are searching for an experienced Software Engineer for PeopleSoft Enterprise (preferably HRMS) to support and develop existing and new PeopleSoft HCM applications They are a leading organisation within Hong Kong and are searching for talented individuals to join them on an exciting journey.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and support PeopleSoft HCM applications. Conduct project tracking to ensure that works are delivered on schedule with high quality and within budget
• Work with project managers, solution architects, and users during the analysis, definition and development phrases. Define and develop functional and detailed design specifications according to business solution
• Provide professional judgment and support to technical solution design group in solution identification to meet expanding or changing business requirements
• Train, motivate and develop staff to establish a knowledgeable and competent work force for software development so as to meet the business needs
• Conduct system design review and software inspection to ascertain conformance to best design and coding practices on system deliverables
• Identify potential areas regarding software application development where existing policies and procedures are required to change, or where new application need to be developed

Requirements: 

• University degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years’ experience in PeopleSoft HCM development and support
• Working experience on project management, software development/maintenance, implementation and migration in fast paced software development life cycle is preferred
• Proven skill in PeopleSoft application development ; PeopleCode
• Proven business skill in supporting HR / payroll applications
• Excellent analytical mind, and problem solving skills
• Good presentation and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with internal IT, HR, payroll stakeholders and external vendors
