Responsibilities: 

• Perform Database administration functions included to capacity planning, installation, performance monitoring/ tuning, upgrade/ optimization and security administration;
• Provide competitive, efficient and high quality service through best practice, standardization and automation;
• Support the database infrastructure to maintain/improve the Service Level of Organization;
• Assist in identification of problems related to product/service installation, update configuration operations performance or other aspects of information technology products & services;
• Suggests and/or implements solutions to resolve problems & ensure a high level of customer satisfaction;
• Interfaces with 3rd party support vendors for problem resolution;
• Assist in implementation & maintenance of the business recovery plan & procedures for minor systems;
• Supports the coordination of the processing environments.

Requirements: 

• Degree Holder or above in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 5 years experience in the field of database management area.
• Certification on Oracle 10g/ 11g/ 12c is an advantage.
• Good interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skillset.
• Able to work under pressure independently or as a team.
• Strong communication skills with fluency in Cantonese and English.
• Knowledge in Sybase / DB2 / MS SQL Server will be an advantage.
