On behalf of clients, we are seeking high calibre candidates for the following:

Positions:   Manager/Assistant Manager/Senior Officer/Officer – Insurance (Marketing Project, Marketing Campaign, Underwriting, Product Development, Business Development, Sales Training)

Positions offered would be depending on the qualifications and experience of the candidates.   

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

To execute any of the following job functions    

a.   Business Initiatives (Project Management & Product Development) - Assistant Manager

  • Manage and implement the pension and group product development projects
  • Responsible for the customer loyalty program of the high net worth members
  • Assist the Department Head to develop optimal customer solutions
  • Provide business insight by conducting customer survey/research and working on customer analytics and segmentation
  • Prepare bilingual customer communication materials for regulatory approval 

b.  Business Initiatives, Pensions & Group Business - Senior Officer/Officer

  • Assist execution of marketing projects and initiatives including new product launches, advertising campaign, promotional activities, and customer events
  • Draft and prepare quality bilingual marketing materials from development through printing, ensuring that these materials are complying with corporate branding guideline, and the relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Provide sales supports on marketing communications and event organization for distributions to facilitate selling
  • Maintain Market Intelligence Database to support competitive studies and research 

c.  Life Underwriting - Assistant Manager/ Senior Officer

  • Reporting to the Team Head of High Net Worth Client Underwriting,
  • performing high net worth underwriting assessment, policy issue, answering agents'/customers' enquiries,
  • handling various underwriting duties. 

d.  Product Development  - Manager/Assistant Manager

  • To assist the superior(s) in product design and development cycle in line with the company business plan. 

e.  Product development – Senior Officer/Officer

  • Provide support to product managers on product development.
  • Conduct comparison of internal and external products; deploy findings in facilitating product launch materials and in the product implementation process
  • Liaise with relevant parties to implement product initiatives
  • Prepare product materials and conduct system UAT for product launch
  • Prepare regular reports on top products, market shares and new business sales
  • Collect market intelligence, update market information in the database to help evaluating competitive product initiatives and identifying opportunities for the Company 

f.  Learning & Development (Sales Training) - Manager/Assistant Manager

  • Be responsible for the development and delivery of sales training catered for agency sales channel including
  • preparation of training needs analysis, training venue arrangement
  • closely work with internal customers and external business associates for effective training development. 

g.  Business Development Manager (Life Insurance) - Manager/Assistant Manager

  • Driving sales volume through providing sales support to the frontline bank representatives or business partners.

h.  Business Development (Employee Benefits) - Manager  

  • Achieve sales targets as assigned by the Company
  • Expand the distribution channel by increasing productivity and no. of productive distributors
  • Assist to design and implement sales & marketing strategies to distribution channel as well as the subsequent monitoring and status update
  • Make recommendation on product / services development / enhancement to ensure the product competitiveness in the market
  • Handle the ad-hoc projects as assigned from time to time

i.  Business Development (Employee Benefits) - Specialist 

  • Achieve sales targets as assigned by working with distribution channels in developing Pensions & Group business
  • Provide input for formulating sales & marketing strategies and responsible for the subsequent implementation
  • Handle the ad-hoc projects as assigned from time to time
  • Compile regular sales reports to management and distribution channels for business review

REQUIREMENTS    

1.  General Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in business, Degree in Business, Accounting, Mathematics, Business Statistics, Marketing Communication, or any equivalent disciplines, with professional insurance qualification (e.g. FLMI/ICA/CFP/FLMI, IIQE Paper I, III and V )
  • Proficiency in MS office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Access
  • Excellent analytical, communication & interpersonal skills  

2.  Experience Requirements

a.  for  Business Initiatives (Project Management & Product Development) Assistant Manager requires 6 years of experience in project management & product development in life insurance industry 

b.  for Business Initiatives, Pensions & Group Business Senior Officer/Officer requires at leas4 years related working experience and preferably with experience in handling marketing materials in pensions and group business, good communication and coordination skills in implementing marketing projects and activities  

c.  for Life Underwriting requires minimum 5 years working experience in life underwriting

d.  for Product Development requires 3 years or above relevant working experience, with knowledge of market product trend, product development/ marketing experience gained in insurance/ banking industry and experience in developing investment-linked products will be a definite advantage

e.  for Product Development requires 2 to 4 years relevant experience, preferably in life insurance or financial industry

f.  for Learning & Development (Sales Training)  - Manager requires 4 years or above experience in insurance/banking industry with financial planning and agency sales training experience, good financial knowledge, holder of CFP or related professional qualification will be a definite asset 

g.  for Business Development requires 5years of relevant working experience, preferable gained from banking or insurance industry with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

h.  for Business Development (Employee Benefits) - Manager requires at least 8 years of experience in distribution channel management in MPF and Group Insurance, of which 3 years in managerial role

i.  for Business Development (Employee Benefits) - Specialist requires at least 5 years' experience in pension & group sales, preferably with experience in distribution channel sales operation
