Working closely with our CEO and Head of Consultancy, you’ll be responsible for researching foreign markets, including potential customers and competitors, and helping expand to new markets, establish new connections and identify partnership agreements with foreign companies.    

 Responsibilities

• Collecting data on consumers, competitors and market place and consolidating information into actionable items, reports and presentations
• Understanding business objectives and designing surveys to discover prospective customers’ preferences
• Compiling and analysing statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it
• Performing valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis
• Interpreting data, formulate reports and making recommendations
• Using online market research and cataloguing findings to databases
• Providing competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identifying market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation

What you require

• General knowledge of Market Research and Data Analysis
• Strong written & communication skills – English & Mandarin essential; Cantonese preferred
• Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task
• Effective presentation and interview skills
• Excellent knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, SAS or similar), databases and MS Office (word and excel)
• Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen
• Familiarity with CRM programs
• Knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc) and able to analyse and reach conclusions & recommendations based on the data research
• Working knowledge of data warehousing, modelling and mining
• Strong analytical and critical thinking
• Degree in Business, Statistics, Marketing or related field
