Responsibilities

• Identifies topics for external communication proactively
• Researches internally and externally to work out content and key messages
• Writes PR texts for cross-media publication, considering the company’s wording guidelines and style as well as specifics of different communication channels and chooses appropriate footage
• Arranges translation of PR texts to all relevant Asia Pacific languages, proof-reads texts in Simplified and Traditional Chinese accurately
• Helps to handle media relations, including the continuous update of the media distribution list 
• Maintains regular PR controlling to define continous improvements, monitors consequently if annual communication planning is put into practice in all countries
• Provides support for speakers in different countries across the region and backs-up local PR activities together with the local press agency
• Supports countries/branches in Asia Pacific ref. all questions about PR
• Identifies relevant features and events for the company’s PR communication
• Organizes and prepares PR events and all relevant documents, including presentations
• Aids to realize tools for internal communication, e. g. DACHSER Intranet, internal events
• Supports the Communications team in terms of further communication projects/measures

Requirements

• Diploma/degree holder in PR/Communications or equivalent
• 2-3 years of working experience in Public Relations and/or journalism
• Proficient in writing English PR texts
• Excellent English (speaking, reading & writing)
• Proficient in Mandarin; Simplified & Traditional Chinese in reading & writing
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
• Outgoing personality with outstanding communication skills
• International mindset, experience abroad during studies and/or work is a plus
