Position Available – Accountant

Organization Description

Founded in 2010 under the vision of acclaimed cellist Trey Lee, Musicus Society (http://www.musicussociety.org/) is a registered charity devoted to promote Classical music and it's education through cross cultural collaboration. The Society is financially supported by the Springboard Grant under the Arts Capacity Development Funding Scheme of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Job Description

- Responsible for daily accounting duties including book keeping, invoice and cheques issuing, maintenance of fixed assets register, general banking;

- Prepare annual budget, financial projection, periodic financial reports, project expenses reports;

- Responsible for tax return filing and annual audit;

- Liaise with auditors, bankers, company secretaries;

- Preparing ad hoc assignments as needed

- Working location: Chai Wan

Requirements

- Diploma in Accounting or LCCI Level 3 in Accounting or equivalent;

- Relevant work experience in preparing a full set of accounts and general office administration;  

- Experience in coordinating with auditor, working with senior management and charitable organization preferred;

- Strong command of Excel, MYOB;

- Able to operate with MS Word would be an advantage;

- Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skill;

- Organized, able to meet deadlines, work under pressure and independently;

- Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English;

- Interest in the arts and arts education would be an advantage.

Compensation

Salary offered will be commensurate with experience and qualification.
