Requirement:

• Holds a degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Quality Engineering (or related discipline).
• 10 years quality related experience with focus in plastic and soft toys; 5 years in managerial position.
• Must possess a strong understanding of the main toys manufacturing processes and have broad knowledge of various raw materials.
• Competencies of Product / Quality Engineering.
• Familar with international toys regulatory requirements and sfety standards.
• Has strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good interpersonal skill, hardworking, initiative and willing to take responsibility.
• Fluency in English, Cantonese and mandarin is necessary.

Duties:

• Assures consistent quality, reliability, and safety of the Giochi Preziosi branded articles.
• Participates in product development; cooperates with other members of Management to develop new product engineering designs.
• Reviews product and mold designs.
• Reviews and approve specifications.
• Helps developing quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses, identifyinig critical control points and preventive measures.
• Receives, reviews and approves corrective Action Plans; verifies that actions are effective and provide updates to internal quality system.
• Travel as needed to suppliers.
• Prepares and keeps record of product quality documentation in accordance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
• Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output.
• Coordinate third party testing as required and planned for the product development stage.
• Implement the quality control processes and procedure in accordance to company standard.
• Coordinate third party inspectors as required and planned for the mass product stage.

Relationships:

• Direct functional relationship with the Quality Assurance Director at the European Head Office.
• Hierarchical relationship with the Executive Director of the Hong Kong Office.
• Help staff and manage a team consisting of QE, QC and Compliance Specialists.
• Work closely with other functional groups as Design & Development and Procurement.
