General Purpose

Responsible for the general accounting function including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers. Assisting with monthly closings and supporting the senior accountant in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department. Filing of Documents in a monthly basis. Handles Petty Cash and bookings.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• prepare journal entries
• complete general ledger operations
• monthly closings
• reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
• prepare analysis of accounts as requested
• assist with year end closings
• administer Petty cash transactions including booking.
• review and process expense reports
• filing of documents in a monthly basis
• assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process
• assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
• helps prepare payable invoices
• scanning of documents and other accounting task that may require

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• knowledge of financial reporting
• technical accounting skills
• previous experience of general accounting (1-3 years)
• proficiency in relevant accounting software
• language requirement (English & Cantonese)
