Job Description

The HR Finance and Project Specialist is a Corporate based role, reporting to the Director, Operations and Control, HR and Process Improvement in Hong Kong.  

 The Specialist’s primary responsibilities include Financial reporting, Project Status and Metrics reporting and drafting HR contract terms and conditions as well as governing global policies.

 Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Run reports and/or extract financial data from different systems
  • Liaise with HR function team lead to track current and outstanding third party commitment and payment and collate necessary accrual document for monthly processing
  • Prepare financial documentation and presentation for senior management review
  • HR Project / Initiatives progress tracking
  • Develop outstanding relationships with all stakeholders, maintaining regular communication with various HR partners to execute project and provide regular updates
  • Follow-up with various HR initiative project lead to collect monthly status and metric reporting for Global Reporting
  • Serve as primary reporting point person for overall HR Initiative status
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, Customs regulations and relevant trading laws, raising any concerns or issues to Ops and Control Director of HR PI
  • Perform any other duties as requested in a diligent and conscientious manner

 

Key Requirements:

  • Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions
  • 3+ years, preferably with HR, Performance Reporting or Project Management experience
  • Proficiency in MS Microsoft computer applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email skills required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and be able to effectively operate in a culturally diverse environment and across a variety of position levels with astuteness and sensitivity
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to work with complex issues and use logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions
  • Fluent English skills, both oral and written, are essential.  Comfort in making formal presentations. Fluency in other languages is desired, particularly Cantonese and/or Mandarin
