Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The incumbent is expected to incorporate into the Global E-Commerce team and is responsible to support SVP Ecommerce for all project management work related to the Global e-Commerce strategy & operations. The incumbent will work closely with e-commerce Strategy VP, Enabler VP and wider Operations team to be a project manager on e-Commerce for certain transformation programs. Also, the incumbent needs to apply strong analytical skills, project mgmt. skills (for tracking of deliverables and timely delivery) and be able to prepare communication needed for internal and external stakeholders.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive & coordinate specified global and local e-commerce projects and initiatives
  • Analyse dashboards, information / data, and generate actionable insights from it in co-ordination with wider e-commerce team.
  • Analyse major competitor moves, value chain and business model evolution
  • Lead the consolidation of Marketing budgets and tracking for e-commerce team
  • Lead the preparation of e-commerce communications internally and externally for meetings / presentations / customer visits & topics related to digital transformation of Retail division
  • Lead the Pricing topic for e-commerce team working closely with strategy and Ops team
  • Support the e-commerce SVP on specific e-commerce projects / setting the agenda for team meetings / global meetings in line with transformation priorities
  • Contribute actively to e-commerce ops team, strategy + enablers needs where required
  • Contribute to strategic monitoring of programs by being in-touch with the deployment actions

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Intern with a good educational background, passion to learn and having entrepreneur mind-set.
  • 2-3 years of working experience would be an added advantage:
    • Understanding customer need analysis, value chain analysis, defining value proposal
    • Knows the basics of developing comprehensive marketing and actions plans
    • Basic knowledge of developing customer centric approaches
    • Commercial acumen to understand channel development, customer marketing
    • Strategic mind-set to understand mid/long term strategic marketing
    • Be a digital native
