The Business System Analyst (BSA), MFG position is an analyst role within UEI’s IT department and has responsibility for analyzing and automating the Manufacturing area of the APAC business. Specifically in support of the Oracle project implementation and Production support of Oracle Manufacturing applications.

The BSA acts as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of the MFG domain, and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. This position will be the primary driver in analyzing business processes and gathering requirements for new or enhanced solutions in the MFG domain in order to provide these documented requirements to internal and/or external programmers. In this role, the BSA is seen as the bridge between the business problems and the technology solutions. Strong partnership with regional stakeholders is mandatory to analyze, document and test delivered key initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Support of the Oracle Manufacturing modules (BOM, WIP, INV, Rapid Planning, QA, PO, OM, Shipping, Receiving) in project phases and production support.

• Responsible for in-depth analyses and documentation of Business Processes, in order to achieve effective and efficient use of the supported services.

• Responsible for delivering quality functional specification documentation for internal and/or external programmers who can develop new or enhanced solutions and reports based on these requirements.

• Responsible for proper testing of new or enhanced software solutions and reports, in preparation of delivery to the Business stakeholders for user acceptance testing.

• Assisting the Business stakeholders in user acceptance testing.

• Assisting in executing the procedures and practices to deploy and use the supported services, including delivery of required SOX compliant material.

• Delivers the outcome of new or revised additions and/or enhancements of applications and components of IT solutions relating to the supported services on time, on budget and delivers critical functionality in support of major business projects.

• Works with Internal Audit and supports SOX compliance requirements related to auditable applications.

• Executing actions so that the supported services meet the required service levels to support business strategy.

• Driving projects of the supported services to successful completion and implementation.

• Assisting in and executing prioritization and planning of activities within the role, in line with the company’s goals and objectives, resulting in on-time delivery of solutions based on the supported services.

• Frequent travel to APAC factories is required to support the manufacturing operations.
• Occasional international travel may be required to strategize with global business partners.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years demonstrated success in analyses and documenting business requirements with Oracle Manufacturing applications (BOM, WIP, INV, Rapid Planning, QA, PO, OM, Shipping, Receiving), with emphasis in the full cycle of requirement documentation, testing and deployment.
• Experience in implementation and support of regional Project Management activities in the MFG area.
• Demonstrated experience working with an APAC regional team of key users and programmers to understand business requirements and bring them to a programmer community for development.
• Hands-on leadership style within projects with ability to get into the details of the MFG domain
• Strong team player, partnering with key users, programmers and other individual contributors.
• Excellent presentation/communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Exceptional problem solving skills.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Systems or equivalent work experience. MBA is preferred.
