Responsibilities:

The Senior Product Designer/Design Manager will be responsible for researching in consumer trends, coordinating prototypes, generating ideas and concepts for company product lines of toys, creating product graphics, following up on all phrases of product development, participate to product testing. He/She will also be responsible to work with management & marketing teams together to create new toy lines for the company.

     1)  Initial design participation

• Generate design concepts, sketches and renderings;
• Prepare control ID, legal text positioning documents;

     2)  Design execution

• Review and comment in the production stage;
• Work with cross functional teams, such as merchandising and production team to solve the production problems;
• Review and comment on the color, deco and quality for the production samples;
• Provide 3D modeling and rendering for presentation or colors selection;
• Monitor different product phases, including product function, sculpting, coloring and texturing;

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in product / industrial design or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years or above working experience in product design. Candidate with toys or related consumer design experience is highly preferred.
• Strong sketching and 2D and 3D rendering skills;
• Creative, team player, self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently;
• Familiar with design software, such as Adobe illustrator, Photoshop
• Good command of spoken and written English;
• Occasional Travel to China is required;
