This is a great opportunity for the right individual to work in a leading integrated service agency within WPP.  This position is based in Hong Kong, working on one of the world’s leading blue chip consumer brands. The agency handles all the client’s communication needs from advertising, to shopper, and across all digital touch-points across Asia.

The Senior/ Regional Account Manager reports to the Regional Account Director and manages major projects and launches and leads projects/initiatives with minimal supervision in order for the team to function efficiently and productively.

The Senior/ Regional Account Manager provides guidance and supervision for junior staff in their work and professional growth.

Responsibilities:

• Outstanding project management skills with good sense of quality and timing, regional experience is a plus
• Ability to manage & supervise execution of IMC/ ATL (primarily TV and Digital) advertising campaigns
• Able to work under pressure, develop good rapport with client and manage an Account Executive
• Ensure clear and effective communication between internal and external parties involved in the process, from conception to campaign launch
• Guide and supervise Account Executive(s) competitive review, ad tracking, extranet maintenance, financial reporting etc.
• Regular communication and liaison with clients
• The organization of client feedback
• Completing projects to a specific schedule and within an agreed budget
• Contribute to strategy development. Understand the client’s business inside and out, answer questions (or find out the answers), gather data, and offer insights into competitors.
• Contribute to creative development. Can evaluate creative work and judge whether it’s on brief. Knows good advertising from bad.
• Ensure approval of brief prior to jobs going into creative department.       Support the creative team throughout development process (e.g. sourcing of information/materials/etc.).      
• Gain the trust and respect of his/her client counterparts. Is someone that their client counts on and can turn to, and whose opinion is valued by the client.
• Organise and manage all aspects of production and oversee timelines, budgets, briefing process, accuracy of final materials. Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely way.

 In addition, Senior Account Manager will:

• Think proactively to anticipate our client’s marketing problems and develop marketing solutions to resolve. As such, the RSAM must be adept at digging beneath the surface to help clients identify the core problems facing their brand(s).
• Using your knowledge and skills to push clients, the team and the agency in the most productive direction
• Identify opportunities for savings and/or internal production revenue i.e. Red Fuse Production Services

Requirements:

• Degree holder with at least 3+ years for Account Manager and 4+ for Senior Manager of advertising agency experience, preferably experience in handling FMCG
• Strong in execution, project management and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, open-minded, attention to detail, efficient, “can do” attitude
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Effective team management capabilities
• A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints

In addition, Senior Manager will have:

• The ability to think strategically and write creative briefs with the Strategy team
• A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects
• Full awareness of creative processes and techniques – including digital platforms
• The willingness to note relevant trends and develop ideas
• The ability to work and lead as an authoritative figure in a busy team
• Team building skills; ability to energize and inspire.
