Job Summary

The Assistant Accountant is responsible for a multitude of financial duties for our overseas office or Hong Kong office. He or she is expected to effectively and closely communicate with our contacts in overseas offices, and be able to work with tight financial reporting deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Independently prepare the full set of accounts for our overseas offices
• To assist to prepare budgets and related management reports
• Prepare donation income reconciliations from cash receipts to system records
• Prepare intercompany reconciliations
• Communicate with overseas colleagues on financial issues
• In charge of head office stock records updating and responsible for stock reconciliations

Requirements

Qualification

• Degree or above in Accountancy or finalist of accounting bodies/qualified accountant
• At least 5 years or above relevant working experience
• Candidates with hands on experiences with Sun Accounting System are highly preferred
• Candidates with report writing knowledge of “Vision” will be given special consideration

Skills

• High proficiency in MS Excel
• Fluency in English (both verbal and written) and Putonghua
• Excellent communications skills and able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff
• Very detail oriented, patient and efficient
• Highly independent with minimum supervision
