Overview and objectives of the position:

This role forms an integral part of the Navitas (Hong Kong) Group Marketing team and will be based within Hong Kong. The position reports to the Student Recruitment Director – UK (Hong Kong, Taiwan & Macau) and will work closely across global Navitas divisions within the UK.

The Marketing (Coordinator/Manager) – UK will assist in the sales and marketing of:
             • Navitas University Programs Division for UK

The overall objective of the position is to provide sales, marketing and administrative support to the Destination Market specialist team. Strong administration skills are required for this role, as is an understanding of sales and marketing concepts.

Essential skills and experience

• Strong written and oral capability in Cantonese, Mandarin & English language
• Possession of a degree level qualification
• Demonstrate high level interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills inclusive of presentation skills
• Willingness to contribute as a team player
• Ability to work effectively within a matrix structure, with focus on collaborating with and influencing various stakeholders
• Flexible attitude to work (e.g. in hours and content), including a willingness to work weekends and evenings in support of recruitment activities both locally and internationally
• Understanding of key marketing strategies and sales tactics
• Innovative thinking and proactive work habits inclusive of an eye for detail and for new recruitment initiatives
• Ability to work to tight deadlines, changing priorities and to take responsibility for decisions and outcomes
• Ability to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure competing demands are met

Desirable:

• Understanding of key issues within international language and education sector
• International study experience
