Job Description

Our client is a FMCG MNC and they are looking for an E Commerce Manager to support the rapid business growth in Asia. Reporting to Head of Digital and you will be responsible for:

RESPONSIBILITY 

  • Establish strategies and plans on Cross Border Ecommerce and provide analysis to develop continuous e-commerce business strategy.
  • Develop a yearly work plan and execute it monthly while keeping track of the sales targets.
  • Provide leadership on Greater China diverse ecommerce landscape covering B2C, B2B, O2O, etc.
  • Provide leadership on relevant third party platforms. Work closely with external teams like Media agency, Tmall, TMD, BBC, Promotional agency to initiate and implement ecommerce initiatives.
  • Manage Ecommerce A&P for Hong Kong and CBE.
  • Manage storefront strategies to deliver sales, profits and turnover goals. Working with the partners, analyze performances and recommend appropriate promotion mechanics.
  • Identify new partnerships and potential impact to the business and help make decision to forge strong working relationships.
  • Manage online store promotion to activate sales. Based on market trend and sales analysis to drive promotions at online store, including promotion visuals, mechanics and communication.
  • Develop a mechanic to monitor operations including order fulfilment, logistic arrangement and post sales customer services. 
  • Work with Digital Enablement Manager to develop online store to be an integrated and user-friendly platform in order to satisfy customer e-commerce experiences.
  • Consult with Media Connections Manager and Social & Data Manager to manage customers’ database and execute communication through various means.
  • Consult with Media Connections Manager to define metrics to measure key results. Draft KPIs for the external partners, vendors to deliver against as well as internal measurement and alignment to comply with.
  • Consult with Social & Data Manager to enhance social media activities to reinforce company image and customers’ loyalty.
  • Inform and may consult with Media Connections Manager on media planning activities for CBE initiatives.
  • Ensure all connection and marketing activities consistently comply with relevant regulatory requirement..
  • Work with Head of Digital to evaluate partners including and production, media, promotion.

  

REQUIREMENT

  • Excellent knowledge towards the market trend and consumer culture of HK and CN online businesses.
  • Proven track record leading successful online campaigns for China market, preferably in B2C setting.
  • Must be able to manage sizable budget, understand financial acronyms, spreadsheets, cost and fee structures.
  • Must be able to forecast close to actual budget requirements, manage brand and finance teams when forecasting.
  • Understands the ever changing CBE landscape as it pertains to new solutions, policies, partners and executions to drive sales.
  • Strong project management skills to meet deadlines and ever changing set of priorities.
  • The ability to work independently as well as partner/collaborate on overall campaign strategy and goals.
  • Can work without direct supervision for daily tasks, while mentoring peers.  Leadership and management skills are of equivalent importance to media knowledge.
