Maltem Consulting is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (Asset Management field)

Key Accountabilities

- Design, deploy and maintain production and development systems in the cloud, from trading to research to software engineering.

- Write clean and maintainable automation code.

- Ensure systems are always running with proper monitoring.

- Ensure all operations are repeatable and traceable

- Support software engineers and quantitative researchers

- Document your work

Role Requirements

- Strong Linux experience, know how to optimize performances : preferably under RHEL or CentOS

- Strong configuration management experience with Puppet

- Automate systems management with Python and bash scripting

- Previous experiences with AWS and Terraform nice to have

- Good understanding of networking: IP, TCP, HTTP, DNS, NFS, Syslog, etc.

Competencies

- Good understanding the Linux kernel and troubleshooting tools (from strace to wireshark)

Software engineer culture : agility, versioning, testing, continuous integration, etc.
