Job Description

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, implement, and execute strategic Finance & Accounting business plans in alignment with branches and Asia East goals and objectives to facilitate the contribution to business results
  • Provide high quality of financial and business analyses in formulating strategic plans and priorities
  • Be the focal point to communicate and negotiate with headquarter for the budget exercise
  • Liaise with bankers, auditors, professional consultants and relevant authorities to ensure compliance with statutory requirements in respective regions
  • Lead the Finance and Business Support functions such as Logistics, IT and Operations
  • Provide quality support to business units with cost analysis and budget control guidelines
  • Monitor expenditure and cash flow
  • Lead to develop, implement and deliver innovative and relevant solutions/programs in response to company requirements, environment and business changes
  • Support the management team on the P&L management and to improve the profitability of operation
  • Perform ad-hoc projects as assigned by the management

Requirements: 

  • University graduate with minimum 10 years of experience preferably in multinational companies with at least 5 years at management level
  • APAC regional experience is essential; good understanding of people and working culture of Korea, Japan and South East Asia countries
  • Solid hands-on and technical experience in finance, accounting, and taxation
  • Strong strategic planning and influencing skill
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skill
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a hands-on, proactive, independent and energetic approach are essential
  • A team player and able to work under pressure
  • Strong business acumen
  • Good command of written and spoken English and local language
  • Occasional travel is required
