Internationalisation and External Relations Section, Office of Dean of Business

The appointee will be a key member of the dynamic Internationalisation and External Relations team for proactively developing and executing integrated communications strategy to enhance the School’s reputation and market position. Key responsibilities include: (a) planning and implementing integrated marketing and communications programmes to profile the School both locally and across the region; (b) editing, copy-writing and managing the production of the School’s corporate communication, marketing, publicity and digital communication content; (c) strengthening engagement and synergy with key international and external stakeholders to drive brand alignment and awareness; (d) managing alumni engagement events and initiatives; and (e) performing other duties as assigned.

Applicants should possess (i) a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with at leastfive years of relevant experience, some of which are at supervisory level; (ii) full-range marketing communication capability including public relations, advertising, event marketing, digital communications and print publications;(iii) strong sense of ownership and be flexible with competing priorities and changes; (iv) excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) and interpersonalskills; and (v) communications agency background and knowledge about the higher education sector will be an asset. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
