General Summary:

You will play an important role in leading a team to define and execute sourcing strategies for the group. You will provide hands on support while working closely with headquarter and category teams.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to Managing Director and leading HK Footwear team, responsible for production and in country supply chain management;
• Work closely with headquarter and category teams in the US & HK to drive business advantages, enhance in country matrix health and execute flawless supply chain and production management, risk management and sourcing activities including price negotiation, claim negotiation and issue resolution effectively
• Proactively provide market and in country intelligence, share insight of business opportunities and product expertise to inspire and support category sourcing strategies.

• Maximize cross-functional partnerships to ensure objectives are met, including costing, calendar timeline, quality, compliance and key initiatives.

Requirements:

• University degree or equivalent
• 10+ years sourcing and/or merchandising/or manufacturing experience in footwear industry, preferably from multinational large scale environment
• Strong technical knowledge of footwear products
• Knowledge of US retail industry is preferred
• Proven leadership ability, including team management and development
• Strong hands on problem solving, negotiation, planning and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Able to travel occasionally
