Job Description

Responsibilities: 

  • Expand sales in a profitable manner with a strong focus on USA market.
  • Establish goals, time and action plans, and road map for success.
  • Translate the division's vision into meaningful action.
  • Establish the budget and manage a cost efficient and profitable division.
  • Create and deliver professional and effective sales presentations.
  • Monitor industry and product trends to maintain a relevant and cutting edge product line.
  • Hands on management in expanding  product lines with oversight and input from product concept to sampling.
  • Operate within and maintain thorough comprehension of standards for factory compliance, testing protocols, and industry best practices for all markets.
  • Identify industry best suppliers and partner effectively to maintain strong factory relations.
  • Lead a team of marketing staff and merchandisers to form a cohesive and productive unit.
  • Mentor and serve as a professional role model with high expectations for staff development and results.
  • Travel to factories and customers is expected as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years successful experience as Sales Manager for consumer goods.
  • Experience in Luggage and Travel Products industry is a plus.
  • Experience in managing sales for a start up is a plus.
  • Bachelors Degree or similar. Business and marketing majors preferred.
  • Proven track record in developing new customers, new  markets, and increasing sales.
  • Established relationships with retailers in the global market for potential customer base.
  • Experience with USA market is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Self starter, able to set and adhere to timelines to achieve goals.
  • Approach challenges in a mature manner, demonstrating strong problem solving skills and common sense.
  • Possess enthusiasm for the job with a positive and responsible attitude.
  • Results orientated and visionary, energized and determined to succeed.
