Job Description

Job Title : Programmer Analyst Trainee

As a programmer analyst trainee, you will be a part of our fast-growing team which provides a full range of services and reporting to our global clients across multiple industry sectors.  You will be assigned to a client engagement in Hong Kong where you will work alongside other experienced Cognizant associates delivering technology solutions providing an excellent opportunity to learn & grow.

Job Requirements 

  • Candidates with Degree specializing in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Statistics /Analytics/ Mathematics, Computer Engineering or related disciplines will have an advantage as you possess foundational knowledge in relevant areas.
  • Candidates with relevant work experience of up to 12 months will also be considered.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with global project teams
  • Basic programming skills will be an advantage for those in the IT function.
  • Keen interest to pursue a long term career in the challenging Information Technology arena
  • Possess a Bachelor's level degree graduating in 2016 or 2017.
  • Should be a Hong Kong Permanent Resident
Campus Associate Training Program (CATP)
Prior to starting your client engagement, you will attend a Customized New Hire Training Program, where you will learn about our history, vision and culture, our global delivery model including our proprietary Two-in-the-Box model, and our processes, tools and methodologies (including the Cognizant 2.0 global collaboration & project management tool). You will receive training on client relationship management skills as well as technical training on Software Testing and Quality Management.
 
Date of Joining
All selected candidates will need to join the organization in July 2017 timeframe, subject to satisfactory background verification checks.
 
Candidate must be open to attending interviews on Saturdays - only shortlisted candidates will be notified accordingly.
