Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire seasonal and range vision for sportswear line
• Manage monthly lookbooks and yearly special ad campaigns, from planning to production of each collection.   
• Keep up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors and shapes
• Create/visualize an idea and produce designs for a collection (lookbook, ad campaigns) by hand or using computer-aided design (CAD) and communicate the vision to other designers and product developers
• Partner with Production, Merchandising, Marketing, and Branding team to meet business and customers needs, while always being on trend
• Advise development of products to suit Alita customers, markets, and price points.
• Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colours and shapes;
• Analyze the work of designers and modify blueprints to produce an end product.
• Research, source, select and buy fabrics, trims, fastenings and embellishments
• Develop a pattern that is cut and sewn into sample garments and supervise the creation of these, including fitting, detailing and adaptations 

Qualifications

• Based in Bangkok, Thailand
• Bachelors in Fashion Design or related fields
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Sportswear Designer
• Creative and visionary with a passion for fashion
• Understand design from a technical perspective, i.e. producing patterns, toiles and technical specifications for designs
• Ability to manage the product development process required to release new collections
• Enjoys teamwork and able to guide, involve, and inspire the team
• Strong communication skills
• Self-motivated, rigorous and excellence-oriented, get stuff done attitude
• Able to travel to overseas
• Strong communication in English
