Job Description

This position is based in Hong Kong.

 

Regional Assistant HR Manager is responsible to plan, lead and coordinate across HR function including Payroll Processing, Employee Relations, support local HR direct sourcing recruiting function and HR initiatives covering 8 cities including HK, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan and Australia

 

Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing

  • Manage the monthly payroll process for different cities include HK, Singapore, Taiwan, and Australia. 

HR Initiatives--Plan, lead and coordinate across HR for initiatives:

  • Determine key interdependencies across various HR functions as well as reliance on other groups external to HR and define project critical path accordingly.
  • Understand general HR functions and foresee issues that can impact key delivery dates; proactively escalate these issues and propose mitigating actions.
  • Be the point person for HR in all project matters
  • Provide project progress; ensure timely, end to end communication plans exist in support of key initiatives including new implementation, year-end activities, or enhancements.
  • Identify changes to existing processes or new process requirements as a result of projects; facilitate discussions across HR to determine process owners; drive definition of process maps and procedures for post implementation maintenance.
  • Facilitate prioritization of strategic initiatives impacting HR and liaise with IT in planning and delivering of these initiatives (for annual plans as well as longer term plans).
  • Develop and maintain project dashboards, repositories and related artefacts for all HR initiatives
  • Identify resource allocation and capacity planning issues for HR projects.

 

Staff Activities

  • Assist to organize Staff activities and Company training

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in HRM disciplines or equivalent
  • 4 – 5 years HR generalist experiences
  • Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Team player with strong, positive attitude toward internal & external customers
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
