Our client is a utility MNC with strong presence in Hong Kong and active expansion in PRC. To facilitate its ambitious growth in the region, it is looking for a Treasury Manager overseeing Greater China operations:

Responsibilities:

• Act as the strategic gatekeeper to uphold the Group Treasury Policies in Greater China Responsible for risk mitigation of exisiting treasury operations; liaise with Headquarter (in Europe) Treasury Team to ensure compliance of Group Treasury Policies
• Standardize the treasury operation procedures across Greater China, including but not limited to the implementation of e-payment structure
• Perform project financing (bank facilities, inter-company funding etc) and hedging activities as appropriate
• Work closely with Headquarter Insurance Team; manage broker activities and establish strong relationship

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance / Accounting / related disciplines
• At least 8 years of APAC / Greater China treasury experience in sizeable companies
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Independent, proactive, with strong business acumen to provide strategic advice on alignment with Group Policies
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
