Job Purpose

• Responsible for developing and exploring new business sources by collaborating with CNCB, group companies and any other institutions in Mainland China or outside Hong Kong. The primary objective is to grow the Mainland Chinese customer segment and its revenue contribution to overall performance in Personal & Business Banking Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Solicit rapport and support from business partners in Mainland China or overseas on customer and business referrals.
• Provide solution to customers in meeting their banking needs in Hong Kong.
• Execute sales and marketing activities targeting Mainland and overseas customers.
• Collect market intelligence on customer’s demand, competitive move and market changes in relation to offshore banking.
• Propose and suggest product ideas, sales plan and any other topics that may increase the revenue generated from Mainland or overseas customers.
• Conduct selling or service activities as deemed necessary to fulfill the duties of the job holder.

Requirements

• Degree holder or equivalent.
• Holder of IIQAS or other required qualifications under SFC for selling insurance and investment products.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in retail banking on sales & service aspect.
• Solid understanding and knowledge on Mainland China market.
• Excellent communication skills and selling technique to serve Mainland China customer.
• Self driven, focus and result oriented.   Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Thorough understanding on Personal & Business Banking Group HK product and process.
• Good presentation skill to conduct briefing, training and talks to business partners.
• Willing to travel, strong integrity and compliance awareness to perform duties outside Hong Kong.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Native Putunghua speaker is preferred).
