Job Description

I. Requirements :

  • Certificate or above in Building Services / Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline. 
  • Minimum 10 years solid experience in R&M of building services and MVAC systems for high-end commercial and residential properties, of which 3 years should be at supervisory level.
  • Practical experience for fault finding, trouble shooting and T&C of MVAC system (chiller plant) is a must.
  • Conversant with related regulations and statutory requirements in Hong Kong.
  • Mature with good interpersonal, communication and leadership skills and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
  • Willing to work in non-office hours, Saturday & Sunday occasionally.
  • Able to communicate in spoken and written English and Cantonese.
  • Good skill in MS Words, Excel and Power Point, knowledge in AutoCAD is an advantage.
  • Holder of Registered Electrical Worker with Grade A(0) or above, holder of Grade R is definite an advantage.
  • Candidate with more experience will be considered for the post of E&M Officer. 

 

II. Responsibilities :

  • Provide the E&M support services to Estate Management team for company’s commercial & residential properties.
  • Monitor contractors in carry out routine R&M of the building services systems and ensure all preventative maintenance programmes are promptly implemented.
  • Co-ordinate and monitor contractors / workers to carry out renovation / maintenance / reinstatement work including obtaining and analysing quotations and certifying of works done.
  • Co-ordinate with teammates for scheduling daily works of a team of direct maintenance crew & outsourced maintenance services contractors.
  • Attend contractors’ scheduled preventive maintenance programme / ad-hoc job order works and prepare inspection reports regularly, especially in MVAC system.
  • Meeting with contractors in review the scope and progress of planned & preventive maintenance programme.
  • Supervise & review measures for ensuring contractors’ are comply with latest statutory requirements, such as work place safety, environmental & validity of certificate.
  • Review, plan & propose system upgrade & work flow enhancement. 
  • Source necessary materials for the maintenance and improvement work.
  • Ensure all emergencies for the properties are attended to promptly and rectified.
  • Work overtime at night and on holidays if required.
  • Participate and complete various ad-hoc assignments as instructed by superiors, Head of Estate Management, General Manager or Directors.
